A new blog & a new start

It has been a while since I have actively tried to put some of the contents of my brain out into the traverse. Some of you may know me as Monte / Orlock from Online Gaming Radio / Warhammer Geek; for those four people, they pretty much know what to expect from me.  For anyone else, by day I am a professional web developer (I make the sites work, not the artsy fartsy part) and by night I am a geek, completely and wholly, and am also incredibly proud of this fact.

“Being a geek is all about being honest about what you enjoy and not being afraid to demonstrate that affection. It means never having to play it cool about how much you like something. It’s basically a license to proudly emote on a somewhat childish level rather than behave like a supposed adult. Being a geek is extremely liberating.” – Simon Pegg

I am also a gamer – MMO gaming, video gaming, war gaming, card gaming, board gaming – the list is exhaustive. If you can make a game out of it, chances are I will at least consider trying it.

The idea of this blog is to cover the whole spectrum of gaming, and the day by day, week by week content that makes its way on here will entirely depend on what it is I happen to be doing at the time.

I hope you enjoy my ramblings.
